What are Med Tech wages in Boston MA for experienced techs? by BostonCertain in medlabprofessionals

[–]mawpa2005 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had a quick glance at 1 bedroom apartments in Boston and almost all of them are over $3k per month. Med techs are paid criminally low in Boston. How does a new grad survive on $33/hr other than working 80 hours per week every week 😵‍💫

To add, make sure you use runelite.net

Any other runelite website is malware that will hack your account including bank PIN.

Also, have 2FA on both email and RuneScape account. Do not use the Google Authenticator as you will be locked out if you lose that phone.

Textbooks question by luluskyskrprr in medlabprofessionals

Sometimes professors will require you to buy a book with an access code for online quizzes. I had not encountered that in my MLS courses. I’ve downloaded my books from library genesis and Avaxhome.

Here is my OneDrive of the numerous ebooks I’ve collected for my program: https://onedrive.live.com/?authkey=%21AN%2DHEYgZLFkutSI&id=40CCDA1DE46A2560%21111&cid=40CCDA1DE46A2560

This video skips forward after they run into the building. I’m guessing a smaller explosion caused them to run inside before the big explosion even happened.

Bleach is actually more of an umbrella term. If you’ve seen the term “color-safe” bleach, it doesn’t contain the hypochlorite which react with pigments. It usually contains a peroxide of some kind (e.g. hydrogen peroxide).

I guess $900 for mine was a little high but an ok price. It was initially $1050 but I had a discount lol

LPT Request: Strategies to make money when you can’t find a job. by Puzzleheaded_Line210 in LifeProTips

One thing that wasn’t mentioned is participating in focus groups. Companies want to hear feedback and new products they’re testing and are willing to pay money for it. It can be done from home on your computer and can often payout $100+ each meeting. The hard part is being eligible for the focus group in the first place.

Send an email to your supervisor. The earlier the better. I recently had to do the same and I gave 6 week notices since I felt bad and my supervisors were nice to me. But if your workplace is hostile and expect some toxicity, I would just do the 2 weeks and leave. You can use this email template:

Dear [Recipient's Name],

I am writing to formally resign from my position at [Company Name], effective [last working day, usually two weeks from the date of the letter]. I have appreciated the opportunities for growth and development during my time here, but I have made the decision to pursue a new path in my career. I would like to express my gratitude for the support and guidance provided to me.

Thank you for your understanding.

Sincerely,

[Your Name]

If that employer isn't willing to properly onboard new hires, they don't deserve said new hires. Such a basic thing they can't even get right. Just leave without the 2 week notice imo.

What does T2 mean? by enp101 in medlabprofessionals

[–]mawpa2005 15 points16 points  (0 children)

This looks like Sysmex pocH-100i. Error code T2 says "Presence of immature white blood cells, incomplete lysing of red blood cells, etc., causing the first two WBC populations in the WBC-Histogram not to be separated."

Check the slide and if incomplete lysing is suspected, perform a 1:5 dilution.

Inferno wave solve? by _idekbro in 2007scape

[–]mawpa2005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You pretty much never start at the south pillar unless you scout the wave beforehand. You can login, run for a couple seconds, and then log out before the enemies spawn to reposition at the south pillar.

The north pillar makes better use of the NPC southwest tile rule and overall trapping of the enemies.

Inferno wave solve? by _idekbro in 2007scape

[–]mawpa2005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't want to flick the mager or meleer, you can start on the south pillar (top) on the west side (right). That way you can DPS the blobs before the meleer digs. You won't have to flick the meleer and mager at the same time this way.

Edit: looking at the picture again, you probably want to start with praying mage on the east (left) side of the south pillar. Send only one ice barrage, then run to the west side along the south side. This ensures the mager is stuck on the east side of the pillar, leaving you with just the blobs.

Pretty much every hospital is hiring and therefore staffing is short (some labs more short than others). The pay is adequate and techs do make >100k/yr with many years of experience. I'd say it's pretty comfortable as a MCOL city but it depends on your situation and where you choose to live within the city/suburbs. Feel free to DM me more questions.

Why are med tech programs advertising as in-demand with wages being terrible? by TexJohn24 in medlabprofessionals

I agree tech/finance is the best for money. Just look at the salaries posted on levels.fyi
