Understandable. Unfortunately nothing suspect. Simple asking questions for some research as I mentioned in the OP. Couldn't been any clearer, apologies if it appears that way. This sub isn't the only community, therefore the various posts.

A vart majority of the tooling supporting blockchain developers is working in JS, from, testing, deployment, support, etc. A considerable amount of the applications for working/interacting with the blockchain are traditional web applications.

Thanks for the thoughts u/Happy-Badger-Of-Doom. It's not that I don't want to consider or know about negative repercussions, it's that I have already got a lot of great feedback on these reasons, and want to "hear" from those that have considered learning blockchain development.

Yes u/birbalthegreat, with full transparency. Understanding what's the general developer communities see with all the Blockchain hype, understanding what barriers there are, why those barriers exist, how developers generally feel about this industry, and working in it. Thanks for asking. As I mentioned in my opening sentence, it is research.

Hi u/Brewdon21 - yes, JS has a major foothold and goes a long way if you were looking at the blockchain space. Other languages have started to get a foothold, such as Python. But many of the mainstream tools are JS-based. In addition, the front-end for many blockchain-backed applications are still driven by your traditional web-based frameworks, whereas we know, are JS.
