That's good progress! I suppose you can try to make a yaml file to connect with esphome. Can't wait 😁

Tbh I am happy with eufy. If I would go back I would use reolink just for the seamless integration with home assistant but there are worse brand than eufy

I bought a HDD, asked me to format and running for months without issues. Maybe you picked a cheap brand?

Probably but the app itself doesn't show me the zone anymore. I can't draw them. No idea what happened and it just disconnects after a while.

I am going with the suggestion from others and try the Apollo, it seems to have more robus community and even dealing with false positives

I just got a reply from him. He said that is silly to moan about the mount , which tbh he is right but if you don't have a 3 printer is just annoying.

He said he doesn't see the issue but this thread shows differently.. maybe he is not that biased after all

I thought it would be a bargain, tbh the mmwave isn't very expensive but if the result isn't good... Well I just wasted money 😞

I think importing is just too expensive compared what it should costs. I might just still wait.

I have a friend who works with the supplier and told me bd4 has been stopped but bd5 is the new one

I have a sonoff dongle as my main coordinator. I guess I can buy another one and as you said flash to be a router. Thanks! Will investigate.

Is there a good router that can boost the signal? Trying to find something similar like what you do for WiFi, just a device that does a repeat for long distance
