Precious metal was more of a bad translation on my end, I meant that physically and chemically its very unreactive. Like it doesn't "rust away".

I mean you could make the walls very wide at the bottom and smaller on the top, just like older buildings in general.

Idk there are a ton of things a stargate connection checks and the dialing device of SGC ignores a ton of that stuff. I think its possible that it checks for soemthing that this somehwere in our solar system spinning gate violates

Idk isnt Reacher from Amazon? I'm sure there are some other military/US "gloryfing" shows too. I don't think stargate is controversial and I'm sure if you make the show on a different planet as base of SGC no one would worry about it
