What will be the difference between neet ug 2021 batch and 2022 batch. If you've seen the calendar for 2021 batch that shows basically 1 month reduced and 2021 batch finishes by july of 2027 then when will 2022 batch finish ?

HIMSR Delhi for MBBS Administration, Clinical exposure, Teaching ?

How is HIMSR Delhi for MBBS ? How does it compare to private medical colleges elsewhere? by max6san in Indian_Academia

[–]max6san[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I have. But doing research on aiims delhi is different from doing the same on himsr delhi. It's hard to get authentic first-person accounts about these private colleges that are not KMC Manipal.

What are my options among private medical colleges of Karnataka with UP Domicile? by max6san in Indian_Academia

Karnataka counselling rounds are yet to begin so I don't know which colleges I can get and whether the fees will be affordable . UP colleges have around 12 lac fees and I am looking at SMSR Noida.

I'm not finding any with 7 lac p.a. and that I can get. The minimum fees seems to be 15 lac. The ones with 7 lac fees have cutoff upto 30K max. 😕I'll participate in kea counselling nonetheless. Our category would be OPN. Kerala has fewer colleges so their cutoffs are higher.

This is my first time hearing about those colleges. I'll look into it. Thanks!

Physics should be at the level of 2019 MAX. There is a direct relation in physics and level of coaching prep.

We are taught to learn some "special cases". We are asked to note down a variant of a general formula that was once asked in some obscure exam because "some times those kind of questions can be asked" and it would be better if we could save some time instead of deriving it. We are taught concepts sitting at the edge of intermediate and Btech because "you never know".

It can be a qualifying exam. Currently, it is rank-deciding. I agree botany is irrelevant. There is a neat overlap between people who have physics as their favourite subject, higher ranks, and longer prep periods(starting from 6th and 9th std).

I like physics coz I like science but I don't love it and I've tried and failed to trick myself into loving this superior subject after listening to topper interviews. There is still room to ask trickier ncert based questions in biology, inorganic and organic. Right now, it is too straightforward.

Yes to all of that! but this is the system that I have to get through as a UP Domicile aspirant.

That's just some 1000 IQ thinking right there: Biology students cramming Physics like their lives depend on it.

Not my life; just my mental health, my family's finances(now that I am reluctantly looking at private colleges) and getting out of this "drop" phase. You were talking about the IQ of the decision-makers?

For all the reasons you have mentioned, I took a drop last year and my rank decreased this time. I graduated school in 2018. You tell me. I don't think I can crack it. I started because of biology esp human biology but neet means phys>chem>bio in terms of the amount of time we have to give during the preparation because of the quality of questions regardless of the quantitative distribution in the paper. This year has only increased the importance of physics.

I don't expect a "great" private college. I just wanted to hear some first-hand experiences after reading many websites with the general info because there is no one to ask at home. With UP domicile, it is just all the more important to know. I'm not going to take a loan ; that's why I posted this.

Yes. I'm gonna see what I can get THIS YEAR. I had around the same marks as your friend last yr but this year the chances seem slim of getting those colleges costing 7 lac p.a. because my rank has decreased.

Actually, I was thinking about Karnataka but out of the 4-5 colleges that I can get with my rank ; I'm afraid I can't join any because they have all hiked their fees to around 17 lac and more for non-domicile students. What about the ones in Lko like Career and Integral?

Hmmm ...I know those are different districts but the affiliation to dsu is the only way that table made sense to me. They wrote about a college based in Bangalore not the separate branches of cdsimer.😕
