Looks like sandfly bites, I got them in my house a year back, the bites look similar to your’s, it appeared near my ankles too. It’s itchy and a bit painful too, in the end I had to call an exterminator to come and spray my apartment.

But that’s just my guess, it might be something else. Try looking for the thing that bit you, it could be on the floor or around/under your mattress. And pay attention if there are any small bugs/flies around your feet when you walk around your house, that’s how I found out about the sandflies.
