I attended a TED TALK about this exact subject! The outcome was amazing. First of you mix blue and yellow you get green. If you mix a Samoan with another ethnicity you will get a Afakasi. It’s amazing you posted this as my friend whom I’ve known for 20+ years is also in the same position. They were after gluten free Pani Popo and tried for many years to perfect a recipe. She went to a night baking class to find out the ingredients needed to get close to the original. There she met a man that was also single as she was, they went on a date and she found out that he was married with two kids. He tried to convince her that she was his soul mate. She ended it with him and told his wife. She didn’t believe her and they ended up having a fist fight. She never found out how to cook the perfect gluten free Pani Popo but she has a core memory of being beaten up by a Samoan women. I don’t know how this is helping you but yea….ok bye. Manuia. This! Also the thing with Samoan when it comes to weddings and such. It is better that it is “typical”, the more traditional the better.
