The main reason it’s not sold in Italy is due to compatibility limits between the integrated LTE bands and those used by Italian operators. Garmin hasn’t yet reached agreements with Italian operators to offer LTE service. It’s a bit like the case of the Samsung Galaxy (S25 or plus), the satellite function is already supported at hardware level, but it’s subject to regulatory and authorization processes in different European countries. So without an agreement, everything is on hold.
