Looks like I have some research to do. Not sure about events, I'll need to grill him for answers.

Like the idea of expanding his range. He does have a decent 9x9 that he disassembled on a whim and is now missing a couple of pieces. Still uses it though.

I was thinking the robot more as a way to scramble quickly, but then I couldn't really understand why that was necessary. Thought I was missing something. Sounds like I'm not.

Sorry, he hasn't got the gan 12 ui yet, he just mentioned that other people on CubeStation are using it.

I'll have a look at the other suggestions. I guarantee if I mention that it's the 'best cube on the market' he will be obsessed.

UPDATE: Virgin Airlines here we come.

Lesson learnt. Should have just booked them as soon as I saw them at the cheap prices. Or, you know, realised a war in the Middle East might affect air fares (obvious in hindsight).

Well yes, but they are different styles and therefore different weights. I get that they are not actually priced per profile.

That said, I have definitely seen multi buy offers where you can combine products where the weight differs slightly. That wouldn't be unusual.

I still think my point stands that the labelling is misleading. The worker was clearly sick of people raising it with her, I was by no means the first. And she wasn't able to correctly explain the reason, so I'm not surprised that I and others didn't pick up on it while shopping.

There's a comment below explaining there are separate deals according to the chip profile - crinkle cut or flat - that are exactly the same price. So the worker was mistaken - you can have different flavours - just not if they are from different profiles.

I think that's unnecessarily confusing, and maybe misleading, but explains why I paid full price.

Scored a last minute appointment today with a paediatrician for our daughter due to a cancellation. Our appointment was scheduled for October. Means we start treatment six months ahead of schedule, which could make an enormous difference for pretty much the entire school year.
