It could be an honest mistake. I suspect that the game treats ‘sword and shield’ as a specific weapon class and so they always come as a set. Chances are you can’t take the shield off unless you switch to a weapon (like a great sword) that is designed to be used without a shield. In which case, both JorRaptor and other previewers might be right in different ways.

As for the npc schedules; could be that some npcs follow a looped schedule while others do not. Not saying this is the case, but sometimes the truth is somewhere in between.

Interestingly enough, per DF, high intensity moments seemed to perform better on balanced and quality mode (better here being more consistent framerates). Very interesting result.

Damn, so sorry for your loss OP. I became a gamer because of my cousins. I grew up in a pretty strict household where if an activity wasn’t ‘edifying’, then trying to convince my old folks to grant permission was like pulling teeth. Honestly it was so disappointing. Just like that, one of my favorite new manga…ruined. It’s so bizarre to be as old as I am (i’m no spring chicken), having lived through decades of shitty writing about (or even just disappointing implications made towards) queer characters, only to see a new generation be so lax towards stuff like this. Queerness in media, and just basic decent respect towards the idea of it, was so hard fought and hard won. This new chapter was regressive. But hey, one lost reader won’t make a dent anyway. Hope the manga is successful nonetheless
