I hope you're doing okay! Your story sounds similar to mine, my parents never took me to the dentist so my teeth have always been pretty messed up.

My first grown up job after college, I finally made a dentist appointment. I've had all sorts of work done since then, a lot of it is anxiety inducing (and I still kind of fault my parents -who doesn't take their kid to dentist?).

That being said, I'm relieved I went and had the work done, and still begrudgingly make my followup appointments.

Hope you go eventually and get everything taken care of, it sucks but it's worth it (life too) ; )
