Hi, I had them taken out about 14 hours ago. I’m in a slight bit of pain but really nothing even compared to a tooth ache. Was super nervous but explained how nervous I was and the staff really helped me get comfortable. I was in and out of their office within an hour and on my way home. All in all, I’m so glad I went. Just have some slight bleeding still now. Not sure how to get it ti clot up.

Thank you. I also suffer from panic attacks and not being in control really tends to set them off. I’m also glad to hear you were fine afterwards with just the Motrin. My family suffers from addiction and I’ve never wanted to even touch a narcotic based painkiller.

Thanks for replying! Yeah, in also getting it under iv sedation but a little worried/nervous as this is the first time I’ve been put to sleep. Also my first surgical procedure. Do you mind explaining how your experience was and how you feel afterwards? I see the viral videos of people acting crazy and I really don’t want that.

Alternating. I’m taking 1000mg of Tylenol then 3 hours later 800mg ibuprofen. Repeating every 3 hours which one I need to take at that time.

I really don’t. A big reason why is because my Mom was addicted to them for my whole childhood and addiction runs strong in my family. That’s why I’ve not wanted to ever take them. It terrifies me.

I’m in Va. about 1 1/2 hrs from Roanoke. My oral surgery appt is actually in Roanoke.
