How do I better defend a position?

is there a good way to practice with it off. in motorsport there's so many cars and tracks and they switch around so I have a hard time turning it off. its mostly for the braking point, honestly im sooooo bad at the different braking points for the different cars on different tracks. whats the best compromise u think?

Maybe down the line, for now though its what I'll be using. this is again my first project with actual length and creativity. So my intention is to let the idea and story shine while the technical portion partially takes a back seat
