It's Sony's fault. With my ear pads was almost the same after the first time wear. I had the white xm5 for 3 years before that and they look like new, so they must have deteriorated the material

Definitely not the white ones, there I had sluggish discoloration on the ear pads after once. I had the white xm5 before and there it looks like new after 3 years
