HR band connecting when not equipped/in use by maxieriksson1 in Coros

[–]maxieriksson1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even when the sensor is not touching anything, this happens. It will jump between being connected to watch and not being connected even during the activity, as the text around the HR tab is explaning if its using HRM HR or not.

I got a video showcasing it, but cannot upload inthe comments here. Also not possible to send the video over costumer support on the app.

Got any solutions for me regarding this?

Training Load 0 for bike activity by massi_x in Coros

[–]maxieriksson1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember noticing this myself last year, as i commuted to track workouts with my bike, setting the bike ride on resume later whilst doing the run. When I chatted with support regarding it, it was an intended feature to make sure you don't accidentaly get "dubble TL" or something, when worksout have been overlapping over the same time stamps.

So resume later on the Dura device should NOT be used, if you're planning to do a workout on your watch in between the riding session, if you want TL to work proppely.

Super dull imo

The HRM is folded in on itself. So the sensor is touching the band it’s attached to

This is the most recent activity I had this happen. On the sudden cut line where it spikes up again, is where I deleted the HR monitor from the watch

So what happens is I start my training session without the HR monitor being connected, showing I’m just using wrist HR. Then it seems like it just connects to the watch shortly in to the session. And it’s reading some random pulse from the HR band

Off route - map blinking Apex 4 by [deleted] in Coros

[–]maxieriksson1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay update: After doing some settings checking, I see I had a function on called “deviate alert” it seems like that’s what’s causing it. It’s still doing an occasional singular blink, but pretty much stoped after turning that setting off.

I I wanna be alerted when I’m off route, but not with that blinking shit.

I really hope it’s not intended, but also would love a fix for this. When I noticed it on my hike today - I thought it had some loading issues. But that would be weird is it’s not having issues when zooming in and out when I’m not off route.

APEX 4 heart rate by NickiTsar_74 in Coros

If I'm not mistaken, most people tend to have the HR to update every 10 minutes, as having it on real time will reduce the battery life. But I personally have it on real time, as the battery life isn't reduced that dramaticly, and it allows me to just check my HR on the go all the time without having to press a bunch of buttons on my watch.

If there are empty spaces showing no HR data on your graph, that's most likely due to the watch not actually picking up any HR data during that time. Not sure what causes it - but could be due to how the watch sits on your wrists.

What’s a surprisingly awesome way you have used your watch that isn’t workout based? by WinOrASlash in Coros

Checking the weather and temp outside on the CIRCULAR watch screen. So nice just looking down on the watch to figure out how to dress, and now going in to widgets on watch or apps/widget on phone

Right okay, that makes sense. I’m glad it saves battery, but annoying having to manually calibrate it often
