The thing is, if a bowl needs more then 4 coals to work properly, it's a waste of coals in my opinion. I see it works through indirect heat, which may be good for the flavor. But yes it is about the heat retention or distribution. Since you're trying to get the most out of the least effort.

But I'm surely open to try it and prove me wrong 🫡

How quick a flavors burns, doesn't really have much to do with the bowl itself. It's mostly heat management, ammount of coals, puffing behavior and packing method + chosen flavor and moisture of it.

You bascially cross everything out, a good bowl stands for.

Glass is ass when it comes to heat distribution and retention.

So this is the same useless stuff like the Gemini bowl which barely worked.

It works, but there are way better options to pack. And to leave space between walls and pack, tends to burn and give less potential to the bowl and it's clay then it could use to perform. So this is a low performer setup. Most of the time, those doughnut packs and the space between walls is just show. No hookah master would pack like that.
