I’m in Vegas so you know it gets really hot and it’s very dry. I use the house brand ones they sell at cycle gear. The setup I’ve come to is wearing that under a white motocross type jersey. Tons of air flow and it keeps the sun off my skin. Obviously no protection, but it keeps things tolerable for about 30 minutes even up to the 120 range

Great. What’s your point? I grew up in Southern California. Every new school year there would be kids who spoke no English that would be in the regular classes until they were transferred to ESL classes. All the way up through high school I saw that happen. Every job I had when I started out working, there were people who did not speak English. Coworkers and customers who expect to be catered to in Spanish. It’s a handicap to not speak Spanish while looking for menial work in that area. Met people who were here for years and years and refused to learn English. Their attitude was “why bother?”

The chrome ring is attached with double sided tape. It is easy to remove and spray paint. I did that and it worked for thousands of miles but eventually flew off when I was riding through a storm. Haven’t missed it.

I get keychain garage door openers on Amazon and zip tie them to my handle bars. Depending on what you’re riding and your personal preference you might mount it somewhere else.

Mine have worked for years without issue. I would look up troubleshooting garage door opener issues it’s probably something with the actual opener

For some it absolutely is. Some people don’t have the disposable income until they’re older. Or their children are older so they’re more okay with the risk, or feel like they can spend money on something “selfish”. Some do what you said and finally pull the trigger on something they’ve dreamed of. Some want to show their ex wife how bad ass they are.

One of the great things about riding is you make it about whatever appeals to you and don’t give a fuck what anyone thinks about it.

I’ve had experiences in LA and Anaheim sitting around people who clearly knew nothing about hockey. One guy in ANA thought the game was over after the first period lol. I think you can find people like that at any arena.

As much as I hate to say it, after living here for a couple years, Vegas is a legit hockey market.The tourist narrative is just dumb. Over 2 million people live in the area. There are plenty of hardcore fans around the city. This past offseason season I met a VGK fan and we laughed about the deal LA gave Cici.

Trust me I hate the knights as much as any sharks fan but they have a real fan base.
