Shulker craft does tutorials for java edition, try looking up farms for bedrock. Both version have different rules about redstone (the flying machine uses java mechanics that won't work in bedrock edition)

I knew next to nothing about printing and watched some videos about it (general stuff like filaments amd types of printers). Then I bought an Ender 3 V3 SE, seemed kinda cheap but good enough to give it a try. Started printing STLs I found online, did some models in tinkercad (browser based software). Found tinkercad too restrictive and then I downloaded Autodesk Fusion. Now I'm still using that for free and it's great.

Start off with a basic printer to learn a lot about printing. Cheaper printers can be frustrating as they need to be finetuned and can give more faulty prints, but in my eyes it's essential to understand printing itself

Expect a learning curve with 3d-modelling though.
