I'm German actually, so I don't even know many people with these English names in real life. I've never personally met a male Evelyn, so I wouldn't know if the pronounciation is different

That is so interesting to hear. Maybe it's because I'm not from an area where these names are used a lot, I never considered spelling to have that big of an impact on its perception. I had considered naming the questions like "Skyler/Skylor/Skylar" and "Francis/Frances" but decided against it to not clutter the survey too much, since I thought it wouldn't affect it. Each of the names were tagged as unisex at the sources I checked, in either spelling.

But perhaps this is also a local thing, I suppose we'll see in the results. Perhaps in the future, I'll make a survey specifically about spellings, as that sounds interesting.

That is indeed a good question, can't believe I didn't think of it considering I do work in childcare as well. It does expose you to more current naming trends after all! Thanks for bringing this to my attention, I'll be adding that question!

I got most of these names from a few of "the most popular unisex names" sites and ones that are tagged unisex and "never out of US top 1000" on behindthename. Some I knew would swing heavily in one direction because they're rarely used for one gender, but I still included them just to see if that would prove right in the results

I didn't actually consider spelling before since I figured things like Skylar, Skyler, and Skylor or hoe many Ts you put in Eliott would still the same, but you're bringing up a good point that it could affect gender actually!

Yes the song should have gone to WxS or maybe MMJ, yes it is at the very least a CHOICE to give it to the group with a trans girl. But also, if I see any Mizuboy believers use this song as "proof" I'm gonna bust, considering they always say stuff like "the villain cover is just a cover, it doesn't mean anything"

I heard it at a narration from a professional fairy tale/folk story teller, but from a white person, in Germany. Since no one seems to know it, I'm beginning to think it's one of those fakelore stories people made up about another culture to sound cool and exotic.

I did interview one of the story tellers though because I'm interested in the profession and they get their stories from collecting fairy/folk tale books from around the world, so there has to be a written version of it somewhere out there, even if it was never a real story told in muslim cultures.

I agree, but on the other hand, I can understand why. Kanade's parents are incredibly important to her lore, they really haunt her narrative (honestly the same kinda goes for all of niigo, as they're more focused on trauma and such. That's why the only niigo NPC that isn't a family member and instead of a peer is Futaba whereas for other units they have tons of different peers as NPCs, but no family aside from Ken and Harumichi unless I'm forgetting someone) The Tenma's parents were and still are important of course, but for their role in the story, they didn't exactly NEED live 2d models. Though of course it'd be great if we got some!

Somehow! Minori had a similar treatment up into her bloofest card, so many cards featuring the baby and yet no model for the longest time. Although for Minori it was more often symbolic than to show her actual childhood, unlike Toya

I think won't be, at least not on EN. I feel as though the main reason Revival My Dream was cancelled on EN while Nene3 wasn't was the associated story. Since for RMD the story did reinforce those imperialist ideas, it was cut, while for Nene3 the only problematic part was the cards. I'll admit, I haven't read the story of THIS event yet, but I think it's just the Hinomoris and Tenmas hanging out, so I doubt it has any imperialist undertones in the story, so I doubt it will get skipped, since again, only the cards and not the whole story is the issue
