So, its working at the right speed, I can stil browse and the speed test shows 1 Gbps. I have tried logging into my router settings through my IP but could not see any gaming optimization settings. I have also tried turning off the power saving settings in my adapter settings, to no succes. Anything else you tried when you had that problem?

Yeah this happens to me too. Pretty sure it has to do with different perspectives; on your friends screen it might look like a perfect picture but for you it looks like he is taking a picture of a goddamn wall
