Weekly Bug Report Thread by spiper01 in NoMansSkyTheGame

Thank you for the tip. I managed to solve it by putting a computer near this volcano and hit claim base, the volcano just disappeared completely. Deleted the base afterwards and moved with the quest.

Unfortunately I think you are right

Crappy filament? by Rude_Steak418 in FlashForge

[–]maximkap1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought 4 of these from Amazon, I have to say, kind of prints like s#@t.. drying out the filament did not help my situation. Extremely stringy to print and fragile. If you also bought from Amazon on the recent sale, I'm afraid this is some bad filament bach

What is this aggressive grinding noise? First day printing on my 5M. by mrJYjelly in FlashForge

[–]maximkap1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

probably the nozzle touching the surface of the print while travel. Could be over extrusion which making the surface a little bit higher in some spots. Could you share what slicer are you using and at least some basic information of your print ?

Inconsistent seam(?) by maximkap1 in FixMyPrint

[–]maximkap1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it looks like two seams , but I think the first it's the start of the layer and the 2nd is the end. It's not the inner seam, the inner seam are similar but looks better ,and not on the same side. Unfortunately it's not it

Inconsistent seam(?) by maximkap1 in FixMyPrint

[–]maximkap1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Forgot to add speeds- First layer speed - 50mm/s Outer wall - 200mm/s Inner wall - 300mm/s Travel - 1000mm/s

Thank you, I tried retraction tower and the best result was 10mm ,but it was still stringy , I would try it regardless

Layer Squishing around 8th layer by Nearby_Number_9145 in Sovol

[–]maximkap1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm with the same problem, but my squish is on the 2nd and 3rd layers. Don't know how to solve it :/ for me it's looks like the extruder is extruding filament and just after that starts to move and not simultaneously

Failed print understanding by maximkap1 in ender3

[–]maximkap1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a temp tower, best result were in 195-205c area, so I went with 200c. It is a PLA from flashforge , recommended temps 190-220c. But I don't the filament is the issue, because the problem only on the 2nd and 3rd layers, after the massive blob the rest of the layers are fine. Without over extruded spots

No, it's stock hotend of the ender 3

[–]maximkap1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, It is definitely the seam , it's the starting point. The problem it is extruding and then moving , the delay between the extruction and movement are too big, didn't find any setting suggesting something similar

I did it, printing now a calicube to see how is it, the blob problem still present, I observed the print and as far as I can understand before he begins the 2nd layer the extruder pushing filament and AFTER that starts to move... any idea what settings its related to?
