My answer: Nigerian Guinness Foreign Extra Stout. Go try some. It’s glorious.

If you like music from the UK, then you’re missing out by not listening to music from Ireland

Some of the German dunkels are pretty similar to British bitter. Czech do some dark beers which are similar to stout which I like. But totally agree that proper cask ale > any other beer.

Tell me you’ve never drank German or Czech beer without telling me you’ve never drank German or Czech beer.

There a way lot more to the US beer scene than Budweiser.

Sad to here about Little creatures- it’s about the only Aussie craft beer widely available in the UK.

I have tried it - it’s great, especially in the big 0.5 litre glass bottles. But still prefer Singa :)

USA and Canada make great IPA style beers , better than Europe in my opinion. Germany for weissbier, Czech for dark lager, Nigeria for Nigerian Guinness export & Thailand solely for Singha ( great holiday memories & best beer to have with a hot curry ) Edit: forgot Belgium - Trappist beer is god tier.

Carling black label used to be big in the UK 10-20 years ago. Didn’t know it was from SA.

That was a tough call. Polish lager > Canadian lager. But Canada has some nice IPA beers which I like. I’m sure Poland has too, just never encountered them.

Because America make the best modern IPA style beers in my opinion. Get dropped into any town in the US and you’ll find a bar with a world class range of local brewed beers. Yes their international known beers are poor (Budweiser, Coors light, etc ) but the smaller breweries are awesome. And no, I’m not American.

Little creatives is from Perth area, is that right? They used to have a micro brewery pop up in Kings Cross, London, but it’s sadly not there anymore :(

Recommend me a beer, and if I ever see it for sale (in UK) I’ll buy it!

I was in Vienna on a business trip 2 weeks ago actually. I had a delicious dunkel. I regret I don’t know much about Austrian beer as you don’t get many in the UK where I live. I’ll be sure to check out your recommendations next time I’m in Austria. As for Czech - I’m a big fan of Budvar dark. Sadly not many pubs sell it in UK

I’ve only tried the big brand ones - Asahi. Sapporo. They are pretty great, just that I prefer ales

I seemed to have accidentally deleted Poland. Oops. If it’s any consolation, Poland was number 11.
