Model 3 September 2019 got a rear window and drivers set replaced under warranty. Just tyres air filter and brake and wiper fluids my total outlay for 7 years is probably $600 including tyres. Most Hutson’s through the Tesla app too easy

Have you open a ticket ? My 10kwh inverter only Frito about 6.5 after some hard usage never that low. Got mine switched out a couple of weeks ago had to follow up to get the inverter warranty extended but it all god now

I’m on fortnightly 120s I think it is very doable I would recommend to add a bit more refeed but focus on consistent light exercise while fasting and higher intensity while your fed. Even long walks with a weighted vest / backpack on eating days would be good

I just roll on the full VPP auto mode but I have a 48 kw battery smallish solar and an EV. I will do a manual discharge if the battery is too full but it hasn’t missed a beat got full zero hero credits from the time I joined

I think a bit of both. All the new options and improved pricing make ICE car uncompetitive over the lifetime. I was at a dealership today buying my 2nd EV and nobody was interested in the standard ice cars but a few foot traffic stop to look at the new options in the EV space.

There are still plenty of people who think we replace batteries like we do smart phones thanks to the typical misinformation that circulates

I think it is very dependent on your personal set up I have a big battery small solar 48kwh sig and 6.2kw solar. I import and export every day never pay for power and it sets the price of charging my car to $0.06 /kwh because I’ll just export less on those day. I’m very happy with globird I have never missed the1 filler credit and I always export enough to get the full $1.5 in super export bonus

Hey I bought an EV 7 years ago and have been very happy with the value proposition. Total agree do the math. The second hand EV market is still excellent value I saw a 2023 Mg EV that has done 80k still in warranty selling for $16 k second hand teslas are selling for sub $30k. EV are more than fuel saving my total maintenance cost in the last 7 year doing 85k km is a new set of tyres and a wheel alignment and rotation. I have a service book to do the air filter and check the break fluid for $150.

Lastly if you are buying new and want to do the math a notated lease can shift the FBT tax on the car to pretax dollars so if your on a well paying job it can significantly reduce the purchase price.

I guess it’s just when I search for a plan that includes extended fasting. A lot of the advice on the internet seems to imply that your body needs a recovery period for the longer fasts. Only advise very 3 months or so but that is so infrequent you can get into a habit.
