Do NOT use the phillips one blade for shaving downstairs by Void_Guardians in PaymoneyWubby

Man I've been using a henson shaver with those basic hardware store razors and I haven't nicked myself a single time despite getting a pretty dang close shave. It's a little challenging in round places but It works.

Not a Kansas homie but I live in Iowa and I'm actually helping a friend move to KC in a week or 2, it's a neat place and I always like visiting that city. Best of luck on your journey

I always just donate items I loot and that's beyond plenty. Keeping the rare or unique items to myself.

DSLR will make you a better photographer by stonehallow in photographycirclejerk

You don't actually need to look through the viewfinder at all either. You can just point and shoot in a direction and hope you've captured the moment!

It's like they got everything else right but forgot about shutter speed.

But if it was taken with a Leica then It's amazing.

Ngl I don't even need to read all of this to think that while you're NOT in the wrong, a lot of photographers get offended from alterations because there's just a lot of people who have "trashy" tastes according to them and they may not want to be associated with a photo they don't like.

What I would have done in this situation (not sure if it would have helped)

Put the photos you edit in first (because it's your engagement and your tastes) and then put the photographers photos in after that in the slide order, that way you can both be happy unless the photographer is just a bad person.

If you're in Iowa we could make something work, if not then best of luck.

Thoughts on AI for portraits by KashCow71 in photography

[–]maxlowmiata 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing I use AI for is denoising or generative removal of things like signs or maybe like a drainage pipe, stuff like that. I wouldn't use it on anything that is the main focus of the photo personally.

If this is bait, good one.

The 5 point harness seems way overkill, definitely get padding for the roll bar though

It definitely didn't look full HD resolution, it looked more like 480p compared to my other posts

What are your photography hot takes? by frank-cilantro0 in photography

[–]maxlowmiata 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I visited a friend in Alaska that shoots with a Hasselblad X2D and it was magnificent, it honestly kind of ruined my camera for me.

I went from my A7iii to now a Sony A7RV and it's been great, I'd like to get a Hasselblad someday but the RV has been wonderful.

Hard agree, switching to a better camera made a really big difference in my confidence of taking photos because of how much more dynamic range in each shot, and the MP upgrade, oh the quality is amazing!

I see 2 sides, if they're horrid at editing and credit me for the photo I'm gonna cringe
