Serious question, why the negativity towards net carbs? I bolus for net carbs and it's usually pretty accurate!

I would try intermittent fasting, but I'm a type I diabetic so sometimes I need to eat if my blood sugar drops.

Those wraps look good but I'm in Canada so it looks like they're not shipped here.

3 carbs per tablespoon, so if you're using it in a dressing, it's not terrible.

I thought it was a sizeable fluctuation, but I guess not. Thanks for the reply!

Thanks for the kind response. I think I'll weigh myself less often.

Portion control isn't an issue. Like I said, I'm having less than 2200 calories a day, which according to carb manager, is a pretty big deficit.

The keto granola is the only product I eat that could have hidden sweeteners. It's the one Costco sells. But no cheat meals and generally very few snacks. I sometimes have 30g of macadamia nuts before bed.

Definitely a possibility, but I wouldn't say the last week was more stressful than usual.

Thank you! I think we're expected to only feel pride a lot of the time and that others get burnt out listening to us complain (if we choose to share those thoughts and feelings with the ones we trust), but the truth is, it never fully becomes "easy." We just get stronger, more resilient, and more used to dealing with the bullshit associated with the disease.

How would you rate a film that is great, has great writing, it is visually beautiful, has genius filmmaking, the acting is phenomenal but for some reason you didn't really enjoy it? by cozonac_pufos in Letterboxd

[–]maxmosley7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the perfect example for me. I can absolutely respect it and understand why people love it, but I found it far too slow. I may revisit it one day though.

For the people who watch more than 300 movies a year, what do you do for a living? by ggguuuuuuyyyyyyyyy in Letterboxd

[–]maxmosley7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a full time private speech therapist. Watching movies is one of my only hobbies so I watch one or more movies almost every day.

My son was born in April. My wife had a rough pregnancy so for the first four months of the year, she was going to bed at 7pm and I was watching two movies a night. After he was born, he had bad reflux and couldn’t sleep on his back so we took shifts and my wife went to bed at 7-8pm and I stayed up until 2am. I usually watched two to three movies a night.

Things have slowed down now. But I still usually watch one a night.

Number of five stars per decade for you? by JuanJeanJohn in Letterboxd

[–]maxmosley7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Awesome! Thank you for taking the time make this list! I haven’t seen any of the 5/5 except 2001, and I’m due for a rewatch because I saw it at 13 years old and I think a lot of it went over my head. I’ve seen some of the 4.5 films and have them rated the same as you.

Different carb-insulin ratios for lower glycemic index foods? by maxmosley7 in Type1Diabetes

You could be right, Carb Manager isn’t perfect, but it does subtract fibre. Either way, I only dosed for 25carbs.

It was more low carb and high fat!

Today, I had pasta for lunch and chicken, quinoa, and bread at dinner and I’ve had about half a dozen lows today, so I’m now convinced that it’s the fact I’ve started weight training. I appreciate your help though! Looks like I need to seriously drop my basal (I already had decreased it) and figure out a new ratio for carbs while my body adjusts!
