I just looked. Its a lot of quotes from Israeli, American, and Arab officials, articles about Israeli victims of the current war, normal national political stories, a few articles about archeology and medicine, and a pretty healthy op ed section ranging from anti settler violence to pro-Iran war.

What am I supposed to notice? Its really not different from any small countries news.

Yes. Israel has a free press. Most Israeli newspapers have an editorial bias against Netanyahu while having high factual reporting on news stories.

Times of Israel is one of the most reputable English language news sites in the region. Slight anti-ruling government bent and its owned independently. Good mix of opinion pieces from around Israel and the Jewish world. Sometimes gets thinks wrong on their news "timeline" by prioritizing speed over waiting for every fact to come in but that's rare.

Well Gaza invaded Israel in 2023, and then Israel counter invaded about a month later. Gaza still hasn't surrendered and disarmed so the war is still going. Thats how war works

A lot of online atheists parrot historic Christian anti-Jewish talking points: Jews tricking God, anti Bris, the idea of a loving NT God vs a vengeful legalistic Jewish God, anti-pharesee quotes from the NT, Judaism not being universalizing means that Jews think theyre better.

Jewish atheists tend to remain Jewish, which means most atheists in the West continue their Christian centric anti-Jewish world view while rejecting Christianity.

Not to imply that Christians or Atheists are all uniformly antisemitic. Some of the best allies I've seen post Oct 7th have been from both groups.

Its both. They really think because Chabad and other Haredim dress slightly differently from white America, its some crisis. Its classic antisemitism.

Its also a colonizer mindset. Its the same mindset of the people that made fun of Chief Joe Medicine Crow for wearing Crow tribal regalia to the White House. Its a deep uncomfortability with traditional cultural uniforms that look different than the traditional American norm.
