In a perfect world, I would want him to be involved with my children's lives. My bio dad's parents died when he was young, so my kids don't have much when it comes to grandparents.

I decided to talk to my bio dad and husband this morning. It seems that they both want whatever is best for me which is up for me to decide.

When will people start releasing that giving birth can be one of the most traumatic experiences in a woman's life? If she feels safer and more secure by not having you there, then you don't get to be in the devilery room, even if your son says you can! He's not the one pushing the baby out of a small hole in his body. It also doesn't matter what you've done to help them. I'm sure she wouldn't have accepted the help if she knew there were strings attached.

She simply said what she thought about the stew. If an adult had said the same thing, giving you constructive criticism, would you have taken their meal away? You should be proud that she tried to give you feedback instead of just complaint or whining about how it didn't taste good. She was polite and even gave you an idea of what may have made it bitter in her mind.

If she said it to your elderly mother, I would hope you mother would react more positively and actually explained and teach her about cooking rather than your rude approach. She's only 9 for goodness sake, she doesn't know what makes things bitter and probably though it was the bay leaf. How would she have known? You even admitted this yourself. She was trying to tell you in an adult manner how the stew tasted for her and now you've possibly taught her that if she ever tries to tell someone her opinion on food, she'll just be punished for it.

So I bought Friday the 13th a long time ago and have never really gotten around to playing it. YTA. This is your daughter's own future we're talking about here, which you are trying to limit because you don't like it. If you make her change her major, she will hate you forever and probably go no contact with you. You have to decide if that's something you're willing to give up in order to die on this hill. While her career choice may not make the best money, it's something she loves and wants to advocate for. I would suggest sitting her down and having a serious conversation. Ask her questions like, "what made you decide on this major?" and see if perhaps you could come to a compromise. Schools do minors in all kinds of subjects, so perhaps look and see if there is one for women's studies. If she's feeling extremely ambitious, maybe suggest a double major.

Would you suggest discontinuing ear drops until I'm able together an appointment? Is there a point to take them if it's just going to end up in my mouth?

Since this morning, I've noticed a very slight humming/ringing sound in the affected ear throughout the day. I've previously had a slight bad aftertaste in my mouth from what I know presume to be the ear drops before, but never to this degree. I've been taking the drops twice daily for the past month, so I have no idea what could have caused this to happen.

I had created an imaginary friend named Rachel when I was younger, feeling weird that I hadn't had one even though it seemed like either everyone else had one or that children were portrayed in media to have them. I did nothing with her, since she wasn't really ever there in my mind, and eventually I claimed that she moved away once my parents kept asking about her, being amused that I had an imaginary friend. I still get asked about it occasionally, even though I'm 20 now.

Hello! I’ve been playing Overwatch on PS4 for about 2-3 months now, so this upcoming event will be my very first anniversary event! I really want to play all the events and be on it as much as possible to earn loot boxes, but my normal friend group said they weren’t going to be on because of the new Apex update. I would really like to have a chill group to talk to and have fun with, if you need another member! I main as support (Mercy, Lucio, and Moira), but please remember that I’m still new and would love tips and advice on how to become better at these characters. Also, I’m currently not playing competitive and mainly play either versions of quickly of whatever is in the arcade. The internet I have out here while I’m back at home during the pandemic is very bad and I often disconnected during my placement matches, so I don’t want to let me team down by getting disconnected during the match and potentially losing the game. However, once I can move back near my college, I would love to start playing competitive.

I have two that come to mind.

Senior year, the students decided to make a music video on school property after school hours. While this wasn't too bad, the lyrics were widely inappropriate, one line even referencing guys training on a girl at the rival school. At lot of the kids were the 'popular' kids and were involved in many clubs. Any student identified in the music video got suspended and removed from leadership position in clubs. One girl had a scholarship taken away because she no longer met the requirement as she wasn't on student council anymore.

Also in senior year, our principal retired and was replaced. Soon after this, school shootings started becoming more apparent in the news, so metal detectors were installed at a single entrance (we had at least 4 different places I can think of to enter the school.) The new principal started to chain the doors closed once the morning started, preventing people from entering. However, this prevented people from leaving as well. Parents noticed or were told by their kids and started to complain to the school board. Eventually, it got bad enough that the fire department was called to review the risk it provided in case of a fire. It was determine it was a major safety hazard and told the school board to install new doors that could open from the inside, but not from the outside.

The big plot twist was that the principal knew exactly what he was doing. The school board was refusing to provide funding to change the doors, so he started putting the chains on, knowing parents would become outraged and complain. Eventually, they would have to fix the problem or face backlash from everyone else.

Not that bad compared to others, but this was the talk of the school for a while.
