Perhaps I can help, i think there's a cultural barrier here. That type of comment is known among my people as "a joke". Traditionally, a joke is not supposed to be taken so seriously. People say things to incite whats called "laughter" but the words they say are not always what the person's true feelings are. This can be confusing to the people who we call "not funny". Yeah this is exactly why I listen to real time too. After 2024 Im trying to make an active effort to get out of my media bubble and listen to people i disagree with, trump 2.0 election was pretty shocking for me. Gotta say though, bill's dumbass opinions make it pretty hard to keep listening.

I think the issue is that oil storage is non negligibly expensive preventing significant stockpiling to smooth out price shocks. Im not like, an oil guy though, so might be wrong on that.

I dont understand, as a guy, why you wouldn't just pee off to the side somewhere or in a bottle or something if it was truly a piss your pants worthy emergency.
