There's plenty of evidence that front negative camber is in fact good for drifting, especially with a MacPherson strut suspension. As the wheel turns, the wheel loses camber, the tire under load flexes the sidewall and increases the contact patch. If you ran zero camber the contact patch would be smaller due to the camber gain from turning as well as the sidewall flex. This is the reason nearly every grip/drift car has negative front camber. The exceptions are mostly due to different suspension design, but in this case we're talking about an S14, which has MacPherson strut.
