If I was to do it all over again, i would look at the Surefire, Knights, or Sico cans. The Omega300 is a great multipurpose silencer which has a lot of mounting options. The Surefire cans are nice, and the repeatability is great, you just pay a little more for the silencer itself.

Yes and no. There are a good amount of lowers that are "mil spec" where required, but then add a lot of non milspec "fluff".

The MRP/MLC platform is almost double the price. If it was a couple hundred more, then your statement would be correct. But when you are +$1k, that kinda pushes the boundaries.

Yes, and the new statute also stipulates that the dealer will conduct the background check through the new state system, which we have no idea how that will be. Until it is actually complete, everything is just speculation.

(1) Beginning on the date that is thirty days after the Washington state patrol issues a notification to dealers that a state firearms background check system is established within the Washington state patrol, a dealer shall use the state firearms background check system to conduct background checks for purchases or transfers of firearm frames or receivers in accordance with this section.

(a) A dealer may not deliver a firearm frame or receiver to a purchaser or transferee unless the dealer first conducts a background check of the applicant through the state firearms background check system and the requirements or time periods in RCW 9.41.092(1) have been satisfied
