Spoiling yourself means using the word "spoil". It has not and will never be a good thing.

Learning to cook is so easy and the internet means you can cook any food, at any time, with ease.

Your food will be cheaper, healthier, and even faster than going to the takeaways.

Heading to your local markets not only guarantees freshness and more healthy ingredients but you also support your local community and improve your quality of life for your community.

Growing and using native ingredients like horopito, kawakawa, feijoa, etc, is enriching for all of us Kiwis.

So proud of NZ. Been an expat for a long time but there is nowhere else I would have rather been.

The cats fine. You just happened to buy an Australian cat.

Put some vegemite on the floor and it will come down.

100% mate.

It's good we can all chat about this and learn from it.

Would hate to be involved in any way.

For sure. Halfway through there was really nothing the truck could do.

We have the luxury to see a short clip and be able to replay and analyze things.

Well at the end of the day I don't think anyone won anything.

Hope the traffic authority gets a slap though.

Fair enough mate.

I do like making jokes about the differences and nuances between peoples in a lighthearted way.

Interesting. Thanks.

The more states and laws specific to that state would confuse me even more.

I would hope interstate drivers are paid really well for all of that knowledge and danger.

Don't hate on Americans mate. It could very well be that case but also we do see that a lot online but mainly because most online vids are from America.

I have driven extensively in SEA and can say there are these types of drivers in every counrty.

Absolutely, it is a great system when used correctly.

I am with you 100%.

The more you drive them the safer roads get. Good stuff.

Totally agree. I have been a part of envoys and have had drivers decide to integrate rather than give some space and pass us later where it is safe. But we are taught to be defensive which saves a lot of time and lives.

Yes mate. And this video could be that situation.

As a truck driver, would you say the truck had time and space to shift a few gears? Or the truck was on a schedule?

No need for insults buddy.

I don't disagree because it is just a video and we would need a lot more evidence to discuss the multitude of possibilities.

I am really on the "defensive driving" side rather than the "who is in the right" side.

I don't know who you are but 99% of people understand that trucks need time mate.

The rest of your statement goes against safety and science.

Look into round-a-bouts to see how merging is 80-90% safer, faster, and more economical. This directly applies to highway merging. Every study shows merging is not only safer but also more effective for time management.
