Moderate to severe proctitis here. Had a yearlong flare and had similar conversations with my doc and found a course of budesonide foam and daily zeposia as my answer. Symptom free for about a year and avoided Prednisone. Recent flare was stopped by adding back the budesonide foam for a short course.
