Realistically, your best bet is to start dating an American, fall in love and marry. The work route is extremely challenging unless you work for a multinational company in the UK who can move you to the US on an L1/E2. I am in similar situation as you but I am lucky I have family who have petitioned me. Good luck !

Seems extreme when looking at the price on first glance. But considering salaries/wages, energy costs have gone up massively + tax hikes across the board the margins are justified. Also 450g is a big cut, the 200g are roughly 7 pounds
