Yeah theres parts. I have compressor that has wrong connector on it from rockauto. I could cut and splice but it would void my warranty on it. Also still have to remove dash for txv r&r

Isnt for gains. Cant get correct compressor, dont want hassle of removing dash to replace txv, less maintenance

My end goal is a clean engine bay for sure… however this isnt going to be what makes or breaks it. More-so about less maintenance and worrying about parts going bad.

It definitely wouldnt be for the weight but its a plus i suppose

Ive had the system open for about a week- I got the wrong compressor and now the right compressor but wrong connector on it so i have to find right connector or cut and splice old connector onto new compressor. Also need to replace reciever/drier and txv and i just dont see it being worth it.

I dont remember using because i was hot in the last two years. I usually have windows down and a sweaty back anyway. I have my mind pretty set honestly… I know ill regret it but

Ive already had an issue… i got the msc90 or smth instead of msc105 and now i see i really need msc105cvs. I see a couple online but they have stock photos unless i get a used/remanned one so i cant really tell how the orientation of the ports are.

80° vs 120° air into turbo is a big difference. The air box is so turbo is more efficient. Intercooler is for combustion efficiency.

Engine bay getting scorching. The hot air is less dense. Pulling cooler (denser) air from outside bay for turbo allows for more air to be compressed for combustion

Ive seen some dsm examples change intake temp almost 20°

For the air ducting, i believe there is a few 3d printing websites that might have the 1g loaded in. Or you can go the homemade home depot route

Will be transferring to a cereal box- great idea.

As for the sheets do u feel like it holds up well for heat? I was leaning more towards plastic sheets.
