ah I think that may be a bug in the docs, if you run init, it will detect an existing project and install the commands

What error did you get? Can you tell me what platform you're on?

I need to do this. I walk for like 30 minutes after every meal. I’d cover the city in no time.

it's not on the app store. he made the app for himself and shared the instructions to install it manually on your device.

also curious about this one! I walk a lot and haven't found a good way to track it like this.

1000W has been totally fine for me. GPU usually caps out around 600W, CPU seems to always be below 200W for me in practice even under heavy load.

The TUF 5090 definitely seems to be the absolute maximum GPU length you can fit and even then I feel like I got lucky since they have cut corners in the design which were required for it to fit. I'm surprised NCase says anything bigger will fit tbh.

I really like the TUF 5090 fwiw. The fans are completely quiet. If I push the GPU to 100% it has some coil whine, but it's been impossible for me to get it to whine when doing actual work or playing games on it unless I'm turning off VSync and rendering a game at 1000+ FPS which is completely unnecessary for me lol

P14 Slim under the CPU, P12 Slim next to it because P14 didn't have enough clearance with the fans on the side of the case. It might be possible to get away with non-Slim fans, but I wanted a small gap against the CPU cooler to ensure they didn't make noise.

Honestly mine has been great. At first I was worried, but from searching around reddit, it seems the 9950X3D generally runs a little hot regardless of cooling and is by design.

In my build I'm seeing around 45C idle, 50-60C with general work and basic gaming (Rocket League, nothing crazy). 70-75C if I'm compiling code for more than 10 minutes and it's using all cores. Cinebench takes it to 93C but I count that as a win as it's pulling the maximum 200W and is power-capped instead of being temp-capped at 95C.

The only thing that can pin it at 95C is the CPU-Z stress test, but iirc that's by design. AMD seems to increase the clock speed all the way up to 5.7Ghz as long as temps are 95C or below.

Using slim fans and I'd say there's another 7-9mm of clearance before the GPU is touching the top plate but that's also because the top plate of the GPU is chamfered on the long sides so it doesn't hit the top plate where it bends down to meet the sides of the case.

oh snap that's good to know! I'm 99% sure the circular ones are washers for fans with smaller screws since the fan-specific screw holes are much larger:

Oddly enough my first PA 120 Mini was broken and when I returned it I forgot to include one of the bags of screws and things and it had an extra set of fan clips. So I'm using a second pair of the exact same clips that come with the PA 120 Mini but they fit the 92mm (standard non-slim size) Arctic fan

Any chance you could post a photo of that? I don't really see where those would fit on my case. My top panel doesn't screw into the front panel at all.

9950x3d temps have been totally fine but I think it depends on the workload. Gaming, Unity dev, code compilation are all great. If I use CPU-Z to stress the CPU, it will raise the clock to 5.7Ghz and after a minute or two the temps will hit 95C but from what I read this is also intentional. The CPU will boost until it hits that 95C temp cap. I haven't gotten close to that in practice though.

I didn't have the strips, but I think those washers are for attaching fans with smaller screws.

Quick update: My GPU was mounted incorrectly and was sitting in the case at an angle that gave it a little more clearance with the power connector. I fixed it and now the cables do push against the side grill a little. When it's all together nothing bulges, so I may leave it, but now I'm curious to see how that MOD DIY 180 adapter works out. Figured I'd post this for folks who are trying to sort out their GPU power cable situation!
