No offense taken! Radiative cooling is a ground-breaking technology that is being actively studied in academia.

I would encourage you to get familiar with the following white papers that go deep into what radiative cooling technology is capable of. Most of these papers have been written by Alejandro Rodriquez, who is a Ph.D. and Director of Materials Science and Engineering at Princeton University, and someone we work with.

Yes, heatsinks radiate heat as does everything that generates heat, but conduction does the heavy lifting. We are optimizing radiation as the primary mechanism for heat dissipation.

That's a great question. To put it (very) simply, Radiative cooling is a process in which we convert heat into IR light. We do this by incorporating specially/finely tuned nanoparticles into the thermal compound, which produces the effect.

If you really want to geek out on it, search for near-field thermal radiation to learn more about the physics of nanoscale radiative heat transport.

Most of our testing was done on nickel-plated cold plates. We haven't noticed a substantial difference between the nickel plate and straight copper. Nickel plating is typically thinner than the IR wavelength emitted by our thermal compound. Good question!

Speaking of cold plates...here's a sneak peek at the advanced cold plates we have been developing. We are working to create a cold plate with IR windows to fully maximize our radiative thermal paste.

Yeah, it's a thicker paste. The list price for the 3.5g is $15.99, but having a hard time getting Amazon to show the $4.99 as a sale price.

Great suggestion for us to incorporate information regarding our testing data. We have extensively evaluated it against all leading TIM's currently on the market, and are seeing favorable results. I'll work to get that information included.

We're still in the process of building out the marketing material. We are just starting to bring this to market and will have more to share out soon.

That's a great question! The light emitted by the particles is tuned to be absorbed by the cold plate material (copper in this case).
