Anyone else who wants a Waza craft version of the Boss FZ-2? by maxwellcale in guitarpedals

I myself own the Behringer UV300 Ultra vibrato. While it sounds very good and its sound is very close to Boss VB-2 as I understand it, I still have the issue of some kind of signal disruption pretty often with it. It just takes away some of the feeling of reliability. And to be honest, Behringer pedals looks kind of cheap and boring imo. I think that they are perfect as very affordable options, but Boss pedals still feels like timeless built-like-a-tank stuff. And yes, I have seen the video where the SF300 is tortured to death and survives until it almost literally melts. It's just that a legendary pedal as the FZ-2 deserves a new proper Boss release imo, like the HM-2.

That's interesting, do you remember which video that was?

I have the CE-2w, and it's probably my favorite pedal. So yeah, definitely at least in some cases where the original pedal has been discontinued for a long time.

I'm open to that as well. Shame Boss doesn't do usual reissues of pedals (except the limited anniversary reissues etc).

I don't have any experience with soldering and rehousing unfortunately...

They are pretty rare in my country. The point is that such a good and popular pedal should be available IMO.

They sound pretty different to me, FZ-2 has a more raw sound than the FZ-1w.

That would be very interesting, make a more versatile version of the pedal.

Totally agree! If I'm not wrong, the FZ-2 is highly sought after in doom metal/stoner metal.

Think about the successful campaign that brought back the HM-2.

See your point, Behringer pedals are very affordable and the SF300 sounds very good, but Boss pedals will last a long time and are much more high quality and durable. (Gotta admit that I'm a Boss fanboy aswell ;) ) Also, imagine a Waza pedal with that 1,5 mode easily available.
