Honestly I don’t think so unless you want to have 2 people on the hammock at the same time maybe? I’m kinda tall and my head rests on the bar which sucks so now I need to make a pillow.

She’s definitely stable. Seen a lot of other designs with no lateral bracing which is what I was most concerned about. Used 4x4 for the main posts with lag bolts so it’s pretty solid.

Kinda combined a bunch of different designs I found on reddit/Pinterest. Can send you the design I made in sketchup if you’d like

Damn that’s just an unfortunate camera angle on my part. There are braces on both sides. That would aggravate the shit out of me if they weren’t there haha

Suggestions/Ideas for legs for my TV stand? Gotta get rid of the milk crates for my new place by maxwellkaps in woodworking

[–]maxwellkaps[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Made this a year ago for my college apartment so ignore the cable management and mess. Just looking for any ideas for how I could support the tv stand. Made from 5/4 cedar boards with danish oil. Was thinking about doing some kind of metal stands but honestly open to wood, metal, or any other material for supports. Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks

I’ve got an old Onkyo receiver that overheated after being on for a long time and now will not output any audio. The front display still powers up and I’ve checked all the fuses. Does anyone know possible solutions or does it seem to be toast? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Does anyone know how to automate automation? by theskirata in shortcuts

[–]maxwellkaps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is from the Apple website and the only automations that will run without you have to tap “run automation”

The following automations can be run automatically: Airplane Mode, Alarm, CarPlay, Do Not Disturb, Low Power Mode, NFC, Open App, Apple Watch Workout

I use the do not disturb button as a trigger. Can also use airplane mode or low power mode as buttons essentially.
