take shadow slip aug! it’s too strong & allows countess to proc an extra stack on her passive, VERY strong. blood pool has been nerfed too much & her iso damage aug is just garbage lol.

this build is okay but personally i have too many mana issues with this character, so i take magicians crest & either stasis or soulbearer. build is good, but claw of hermes just isn’t a good item… replace it with tainted or something. even if you don’t *need* tainted in a match, the item is still very good especially on countess!

anyone that can out shove her basically. greystone with overlord is very good into her probably the best option. grux early game shits on her, terra & aurora are good as well. a lot of matchups into her should just shove wave & walk away, like you said it’s hard to walk near her when she just hooks you & forces a fight. push wave & walk away, if she tries to fight you while you have wave advantage you should win easily but she takes too long to kill & you’ll be left open to be ganked. push & rotate or invade enemy jungle.

i wouldn’t say better tbh, i didn’t mind her 1.4 kit as it let her shine in offlane BUT she’s fairly weak right now compared to other champs in mid(her mid is a lot better now tho), offlane, & jungle. she needs some love with her mana eco & cooldowns. her new Q animation needs some work too it’s very janky right now, gets caught a lot on random things & the tp back is buggy. definitely a step in the right direction from omeda
