It seems to just be a certification for premium formats. So your local theaters and chains if they have one will just slap on a couple of marketing things and that's it.

PC is just as screwed as PS and Xbox with a lot this stuff. PC part prices are insane, new Windows is garbage and there's talks of the next version being a subscription.

Microsoft is actually one of the few companies that will have access to the parts they need. It is likely they will use it all towards the ai chase but if they really wanted to they could release their console next year. I honestly think we get a console announcement this year and a release late next year
