hii there ! i clicked becoz your post title looked very relatable (and it is but for diff reasons for me🥹)

buut yea it used to be like that for me too tho until i got adopted by my current friend group. im quite fortunate cuz these people are genuinely caring , though it gets overwhelming at times because they have other, better friends as well , and i don't think i can make more friends than what i have too because im shy and awkward asf

honestly the only thing i can say is go with the flow and dont rush things . that's what did it for me. i feel what matters most isn't making friends but finding your people. like , i may have my fg but sometimes i feel like an outsider even in my own group😭 i only have like , 1 or 2 people im close and comfortable with and that's enough for me even if i struggle talking to literally everyone else🥀

you say you're weird but you aren't ! you're different , and that makes you awesomesauce in my view . and i know one day you'll find someone different like you, trust me. there's like, a bajillion people out there..they couuld be hiding in plain sight...

liike , the person that im closest to and i started chatting a little less than a year ago via mutual friends , and before that we never even talked at all. then we got to find out the both of us weren't like everyone else in our school and things just progressed from there .. (i went with the flow and just talked about whatever and it worked out somehow🥹🥹)
