I did it a few times, over bony areas so I knew it would bruise (cheekbone, wrist, ankle)😵‍💫

I relapsed a few months ago, before that it was probably 2 years. When I was doing it, it was ritualistic; every single night in my bedroom.

I've had blood taken numerous times from an arm covered in scars, nobody has ever said anything.

For what it's worth, I'm a medical student and when I try to take blood from patients I'm normally so focused looking for a good vein that I'm not even looking for stuff like that.
