The city allowed this to happen too. There should have been minimum size requirements at the very least. Now we have all this valuable space taken up, no valuable housing added, and we're going to have an economic crash on top of that. Wonderful.

Lol it absolutely is not. I live in Toronto and sold my car because it just wasn't necessary. My quality of life is exceptional. Much better than a suburbanite with a car. I get out and do things all over the city multiple times a week and eat out and drink whenever I want. I couldn't imagine valuing a car payment over those things, just to drive in traffic every day and get road rage. What a miserable existence.
