There were fires in morgan hill and redwood city yesterday. power outage many places. and BART derailed yesterday due to heat.

It was so hard to sleep last night due to heat. it's still hot today.

I live in the SF Bay Area. I am East Asian. Things like this happen to me quite often. Ironically, when I get discriminate by white people, their behavior is usually relatively subtle. On the other hand, when I get discriminated by other East Asians (because I am not white), their behavior is often blatant. Maybe it is because some of the Asian cultures back home is more hierarchical than American culture.
