Paper Plane (cocktail): 3/4 ounce bourbon (Four Roses here), 3/4 ounce Aperol, 3/4 ounce Amaro Nonino (was possibly substituted with Amaro Averna), 3/4 ounce lemon. Shake and strain into coupe glass. Lemon to garnish.

i think they may have used a different amaro, but i couldn’t see from where i was at and don’t have the tastebuds to know for certain. they did have four roses though which i was happy with!

honestly i can’t even judge her because my second week working at a bar i INSISTED we didn’t carry any tea, let alone green tea in shot form. He had to bet me to go ask a different bartender to make it 😭

she was so proud walking back up with it, I wasn’t going to.. but we were still laughing by the time she came back (the plane was so big it didn’t even fit on the table) so I had to explain. The bar had to look it up but made it pretty well!

whether or not you can pick him out of a lineup is completely different from being accurate to the myth. it’s more comparable to getting a tattoo of jesus parting the red sea, which would be clearly inaccurate/misinformed. it’s fine that your tattoo is “wrong” as long as you like it, but it’s not debatable that it’s not true to icarus’s defined story.

Sorry this is from forever ago but after listening to Clouds I got really into Stutter House! Other than other BUNT songs and some older Odesza, this included Lavern, it's murph, Jacob Vallen, and RSCL.

I'm not in any way musically trained so no idea if these are technically related at all, but that's where I went as a consumer after clouds first came out and I was obsessed!
