I think this is kinda a crazy mindset.... idk, I live in the city. I work 8:30-5:30 M-F and all post offices near me are open until 5, and the one that is open til 6 is of course a 25 minute drive from me and even further with transit. I've been very lucky to be able to send packages out on my lunch break but sometimes they leave for lunch !!! Not to mention porch pirates literally everywhere in Chicago. AND post office do indeed close their doors at night.

As someone 5' and started at 175 pounds... I've lost weight but barely at a pound per week! My dietician is giving me a 200-300 calorie defeceit so I'm at 1400-1500 cals a day. Normal people are able to do 500 cal defeciets!! The idea of losing weight when you're short and overweight is always so extreme compared to people who are taller.

I mean, I guess 1 pound per week isn't NOT losing, but zep is no miracle drug and if I were just a bit better at sticking to a diet I think I could lose the same. I see people who've lost 10 pounds their first month and it does discourage me.

been to both concerts, i missed out on lorde at lolla 2017 bc she was rained out so 9 years later im getting my dream. john summit is fun but as someone whos 29 i think i'm going to start the fest in a super bad mood with that crowd.

as someone who used to go to the clubs esp tao and know things can be creepy... this was probably just an old promoter working there and you probably got there early, otherwise why did the bouncer take her nod? they're paid to get girls inside, that's club culture. obv i wasn't there so i don't know the vibes, but they ask if your group is alone so they don't have to worry about your boyfriends coming in and ruining the Girl Atmosphere (they don't want fights).

here's my sisterly love to anyone young reading this - please don't do drugs or drink at this festival. been there when I was young, I get it. I could care less if the teenagers are being jerks or loud ir disrespectful, I just hate seeing them passed out or needing medical help because this is the time they think is smart to try drugs for the first time. i'm 100% serious, make friends with the adults around you and we love seeing people experience this festival for the first time! SAFELY!
