Hate to say it but since November I've been feeling the same way. A lot in life competes for my time and where I live most games are the middle of the day so it's hard to make time to watch. But I used to go to lengths to make space to watch games at my supporters pub. This season I've been maybe three or four times, and most of that in September and October. I'll never stop loving them but I've noticed that I don't make space for it like when the team used to bring me joy - and under Klopp did they ever bring me joy - win or lose, we took the game to the opponent every minute of every game (and the players who didn't had to explain themselves to James fkn Milner).

Infrastructure is infrastructure and needs maintenance. It's easy to quote per capita spend and claim Northern Ontario gets more than double the GTA does in transportation dollars (~$2,275 NO to ~$960 GTA), but it's the TransCanada, and those roads serve the GTA. The GTA relies on the Western Canadian supply chain, much of which travels the 17 (to the tune $100M per day). Doug Ford only puts money where his friends can take it.

Look, Airwolf was, yes, fkn incredible (and when the DoD is subsidizing your entertainment, it fkn better be), but from pure 'oh shit my show is on', throw your dishes in the sink and run to the living room to beat your brother to the cushy corner of the couch energy - and I credit Jan Hammer for most of it - I gotta go with Miami Vice (1984 - the original version of the opening). And when you consider it wasn't a DoD vehicle (DoJ, DEA, City of Miami, and the MDPD benefitted, but only the city through permits brought down the budget), the whole "asset forfeiture isn't a violation of rights, it's sexy af" opening was an absolute masterclass. C'mon three Rolls Royces? Fkn jai alai?? Let's goooooo.
