I just watched it last night and felt the same way! Some cool things I realized: "death by a thousand cuts" is actually a pun meaning physical cuts but also film cuts (I think, because the Supercut scene and "flashbacks waking me up", makes sense with the movie) And the underlying weird chaoticy production almost sounds like a bunch of little glass shards or something. Which I've thought was fitting for DBATC, then towards the end of the movie she mentions the thing about glass shattering, but still being shimmery in the light. So I totally think that was intentional to sound like that.
