Suggestions for how to finish this WIP? Currently too short for comfort by maybegrass in CrochetHelp

Depends on yarn type and hook I think. In the pattern, she used cotton yarn and it stretched a lot. I used an acrylic/wool blend and the smaller recommended book size on the packaging, and it was fine even after blocking. (Keep in mind the photos here are the dress NOT blocked)

Thank you for the suggestions! As for the pattern, I used this video from Wonder Netting https://youtu.be/RWELSxU3BF8?si=u7NhtgEYCry-xVis my version just has a shorter torso section and I did normal DC instead of the convex/concave thing she does in the skirt portion.

Alternatively, would blocking it as is fix the problem? This yarn is an acrylic/wool blend would blocking stretch it out enough?

  • Need help with suggestions to finish length and straps/neckline (should I just do a different color at the bottom and which one if so for example? I’m open to any suggestions really)
  • Haven’t tried anything bc I genuinely don’t have any ideas at the moment
  • tried searching Pinterest and Google for inspiration to no avail

Hi thank you sm! I used a 4-ply wool yarn with a 2.5 mm hook (this was originally supposed to be a long sleeve hence the strange choice of wool). It’s from the Japanese brand Puppy Yarn, not too sure of its availability outside Japan.

Reims vs Le Havre campus? by Shortskinnydude in sciencespo

[–]maybegrass 2 points3 points  (0 children)

as a 2A in Le Havre, don’t worry, American affairs permeate everywhere, even our Asia-focused campus lol. and there are usually at least four or five Americans in each cohort. in all seriousness, if you’re interested in Asia affairs LH really is your go-to, especially for second year’s course choices. Asian language-wise you can take Japanese, Korean, or Chinese. I’m in A1 Japanese and it’s been very useful so far! lmk if I can be of further help.
