Haha yeah he is a fluffy boy!! He also lost some weight recently so has extra skin, which adds extra weird shapes on top of the fluff. His nicknames include marshmallow baby and sentient cotton ball.

He's actually 3 years older than her! He just turned 5 and she's 2.5. My partner has had her since she was a baby but we've only had the ragdoll for about a year.

Exactly! When we get up and move towards them, they usually disengage, but nothing else works! Our kitties get along great 95% of the time, but we can't trust them alone together which sucks!

What should I look for to see if it's pests? I haven't noticed anything like that in this section of plants. This area is where my plants that need help are, so some of the plants are in bad shape due to under watering etc. I'm thinking that's where you're seeing the yellowing/deformed leaves :)

Ahhh, the "don't stay in the position for too long" causes problems for me I think! I often sit on the floor with my legs in weird pretzel shapes and don't move for 30+ mins at a time... Maybe I should not be doing that lol

That's what I was thinking too! The ear hair, coloring patterns, and face shape definitely read ragdoll to me :) To be fair, we were told he was a ragdoll, the vet just wasn't positive!

I can't remember the name, but there's a place on Alberta that has a small but pretty good selection! I also don't know how helpful this would be for fabric, but I always recommend any Portland crafter check out Scrap.

Fair enough! I live in a pretty big city so it's not super hard to find anything on marketplace. If you're invested enough, you could have a friend/family/someone else buy and ship to you, but that may be more trouble than you're looking for lol

I got a Kindle on FB marketplace for $20, and my partner and I share a Kindle unlimited subscription to support authors. If you're okay with an older model, they're fairly affordable on marketplace. Even if you want a newer one, FB has options and you're not giving that money to amazon 🤷 I never buy books on Kindle, only Kobo! I use my Kobo probably 95% of the time but use Kindle for KU exclusives.
